Bergenia crassifolia

This is a really awesome plant that was in our garden when we moved here 29 years ago. It is a faithful bloomer and easily divided.

Bergenia crassifolia is listed as a winter or early spring bloomer, and mine always blooms early spring.

Bergenia (pron.: /bərˈɡɛniə/)[1] (elephant-eared saxifrageelephant's ears) is a genus of ten species of flowering plants in the family Saxifragaceaenative to central Asia, from Afghanistan to China and the Himalayan region.

Zones A-1-A-3; 1-9, 12-24
Partial or Full shade, mine is in full sun until around 4pm and does fine.
Regular watering
Divide early spring

They love growing among the stones!

Early spring in the flower bed, love those Grape Hyacinth!!!
