Prescott Arizona

We just spent two nights in Prescott with my husbands older brother and his wife and family. They bought a little double wide as their get away from the heat vacation home!!! It has an awesome deck to lounge around on and two awesome trees on either side.
These trees are called Alligator Juniper-Juniperus deppeana. They are very distinct due to the bark!! So cool!!

That's my sister-in-law Dawn trying to beat Candy Crush :-) and the Alligator Juniper behind her. (We sat together and played, giving each other more lives so that we could continue to play. It was so fun!!)

The trees are loaded with berries which attract the birds.

Oh, and look at this awesome find!! The previous owners left ALL their furniture and this piece was among them!!!

Dawn is going to clean it up and give it a new coat of paint. It will be gorgeous!!

Here's the view from the deck around 10 am. Beautiful!!!
Prescott is a really fun place to visit, lots to do and great shopping and foodie places!!!

When we got back into Phoenix, Dawn took us to a Sushi bar where the food goes by you on a conveyor belt thingy!! Too fun and so yummy!!

This is our son Josh and that's my husband on the right :•)

What a fun experience!!!

Thank-you to Dawn and Doug for sharing their home with us, and thanks to Donnie and Tracy for taking us into downtown Prescott to see the sights. We had an awesome time!!!

Well, that's it for now. Have a happy day and enjoy the earth!!! Martha

  1. I haven't been to Prescott but have a friend who moved there recently. It sounds like a neat place. My heart breaks for the firefighters and their families though.

Does the sushi conveyor belt go around in circles like the suitcases at the airport?
