Isn't this simply beautiful?!!! This is a view of Cannon Beach from Ecola State Park. We stopped there on our way home last weekend.
Below is the lighthouse on Tillamook Head rock.
And then some really cool dead tree. Very sculptural.
Every year we go to 2 cemeteries in Clatsop County Oregon to clean graves and put new flowers out. The one above is my grandpa. He's in a military area so he's not with the rest of the family. This year we brought a dozen flags to share with my grandpa's neighbors. It makes it look very patriotic. We clipped the grass around each stone and read their names. It's nice to remember them :)
And here is the rest of the family, all cleaned up and new flowers set in the ground. The caretakers leave the flowers there year round. They remove them to mow and then replace them back. So sweet.
We were lucky to be there on such a gorgeous warm day!!!! Loved it.
