Camping and Fishing at Darling's RV resort-Siltcoos Lake Oregon

 

We spent a week with great friends camping in our trailers and RV, fishing, and eating some amazing meals at Darling's Resort at Siltcoos Lake.

Dogs are welcome as long as they aren't aggressive and are on a leash.

The blue dot marks the spot. It is a really huge lake!!! Lots of fishing, but you can kayak, kids were swimming. Just a wonderful place to hangout.

Most of the camping is for trailers and motorhomes. Above the road you have full hook ups including septic. If you camp on the water, you have electric and water, no septic, but you have a front row seat on a sandy beach with a fire ring.

Our trailer in the background.  I was out walking Bailey and was amazed when he came running by. Already had my phone out taking photos of the lake so got the perfect picture.

Doesn't get much better than this, relaxing by the fire.

Darling's has a restaurant too. Such good food!! We brought enough food for the week and ended up bringing quite a bit back because it was hard to resist the amazing menu they had!!!

And the owners and employees are all so kind, funny, helpful, amazing. They truly made this week magical and fun for us. It felt like home.

If you don't have a trailer or motorhome, they have two little sugar shacks down on the water that they rent out. Has beds and chairs, no toilet but they have bathrooms and showers just across the street next to the office/restaurant.

We have already booked a week for next July, 2023. 

I think I'm ready to go now!! hahahahahahahahaha
