mini album in epoxy resin and a lid with the excess

I have a silicone mold of a vinyl album but it is scarred up a bit. Not good but I am still trying to use it. My idean is to make thin black albums and inbed it in clear or light colored resin and turn it into a coaster for my son who sells vinyl. These did not turn out. So back to the drawing board as they say. the next one will be clear resin and maybe some color on the edges??? Your thoughts??
