I am adopted because my birth-mother above chose life. She chose to allow me to live the life that was already planned for me by our Dear Lord and I am thankful.💗
It is Lent, and as a Catholic, we traditionally give something up during this time.
This year I am feeling a different pull to do something more.
I am planning on speaking out against the sadness of abortion and speak for the wonder of Life, and the Beauty and Love of Motherhood.
I do not condemn. I know many who chose abortion because they were encouraged to do so, or they were told they had no choice but this, and now they live with the pain of their decision in silence. It breaks my heart that they suffer so very much.
Our church has a wonderful retreat for those who are suffering, all kinds of suffering. It is called Grief to Grace. Many have been healed through this wonderful mission. If anyone reading this would like to know more, let me know and I will get the information to you.
To be honest, I have to really work hard on not becoming angry at the news and decisions that are in the media every single day about the choices to end innocent lives. My post from yesterday was generated by my anger at our politicians making bad choices. And I need to work on that !!! I am sorry to explode.
So...... Join me for 40 plus days of contemplation on this very serious subject.

I really have no idea where this will lead. I may have many who will turn away, but that is OK.
Because........
Who am I to turn my back on these little miracles whose lives have ended so tragically? I am one of the lucky ones. And I cannot be silent any longer. We who have a voice need to speak up.

ReplyDeleteHi Rose!! Thank you for visiting and for the comment. Well, the first thing we can do is pray daily and I know you do. We need to pray for the children lost, pray for the moms to know and see the truth in their hearts and souls and make the right choice for themselves and the little ones, and pray for forgiveness for the abortionists-that the scales will fall from their eyes and they will see the truth of what they are doing. I will be writing more in upcoming posts of what we can all do to help in this battle. Thank you again!!!
